Disgusting, prolonged atheletes foot on soles

I've had a thick, calloused variety of atheletes foot on the soles of both feet for years, and while over the counter medications sometimes help a little, nothing has ever gotten it to go away. It's becoming incredibly obnoxious to deal with and am looking to get it taken care of for good. What kind of doctor should I see?
