Okay I have been having some off and on symptoms of the throat. A few times a week since the summer has come I have been getting this sensation of something stuck in my throat that I can't swallow down. It feels like it maybe some thick mucus or something. I can't see anything though when I look in my throat except one tonsil is bigger than the other. The sensation comes and goes as I said before but I get it a few times a week. It dosen't hurt to swallow it is just very anoying that I can't swallow down whatever it is. I had a dry sore throat last week that is cleared up now, also my glands under my jaw are a bit sensitive but not painful. I have had a strep test and it came back normal, and my the GP seems to not be very concerned about this problem. It is very anoying though and is driving me crazy. The feeling is sometimes worse when I am lying down. When I eat food my throat feels normal, and to drink seems normal but when I drink very cold drinks it feels weird. Any ideas on what this is?? I have no other symptoms, no fever no cough, no nothing, just what I have listed above. Can some one give me any idea???
