Q: Discomfort On Penis
asked by: concernedn on April 6th, 2009

I used to masterbate a lot. However, for last two weeks I have stopped it doing too often and now I do it with much lesser frequency. When I was masterbating too often I did not face any problem but now that that I do not do it too much I am facing problems. There is a slight feeling of discomfort on the right side of my penis ( I am not sure if it is a pain). Can anyone tell me why it is happening so. I am really concerned. Please help.

Hi
I would first seek a doctor in person about this and also find stuff about it through Google maybe. Is there anything that looks different on that side or is it just a feeling?

My original question was: "I used to masterbate a lot. However, for last two weeks I have stopped it doing too often and now I do it with much lesser frequency. Your reply was: "I would first seek a doctor in person about this and also find stuff about it through Google maybe. Is there anything that looks different on that side or is it just a feeling?"

You asked the question whether there is any thing that looks difeerent on that side (right) or it is just a feeling. Yes, it is just a feeling and nothing really looks different on that side. Can you give me some more information. I will really be grateful. Thank You.

re
I googled and came up with this...not sure if your problem is similar, check this link...

http://pmj.bmj.com/cgi/content/extract/76/ 895/311b

if that's the case, someone said to "see a urologist to confirm the diagnosis & whether anticoagulant & antibiotics will be necessary or not.

Till you see doctor you can take analgesic & antiinflammatory medicines like motrin or
aleve after food to relieve pain & inflammation , if there is no other contraindication."

But I don't know if this is what you have anyway

Sebaceous cyst?
Pearly Penile Papule?
any type of wart (example: moluscum), or any other skin infection?

If it is a Sebaceous cyst, don't pop it. This is from wikipedia about Sebaceous cysts...
"Under no circumstances must one try to pop the cyst, as it can lead to infection of the surrounding tissue. The neck is a particularly dangerous region, due to the glands and blood vessels."

Also, this link is pretty informative if you want to find out more about the causes of Sebaceous cysts and whether you may have an infection or not.

One shouldn't pop a Pearly Penile Papule themselves I don't think....one should seek a physician about that
