Hello, I hope you can help me. I have a hernia above my belly button. Im not sure if this is causing the problems but it has been sore lately and causing me some discomfort.
I ususally go to do poo once a day, but lately the following pattern is occuing. I start with constipation, I can feel that i need to go, but nothing seems to come out. This feeling last 1 to 2 days, then when I finally go the poo is very dark in colour close to black and very sticky. Then the poo will change this happens all in the same sitting on the toliet, it changes to bright yellow and is soft a a little runny and is a bit oily.
WHile this is happening, I also have the worst indigestion, chest pain, buring in the throat and burping. I also have trouble keeping food down, and vomit. The last time this happened I noticed the vomit had small spots of what looked like bright red blood.
This pattern would happen very few weeks, bit is occuring weekly now.
I dont want to go to the gp, can you please tell me weather it is anything to worry about.
Please reply Thanks Julie
