For about 4 days or so ive had the oddest feeling in the area just below my ribs. Its not painful, jus strange. Im not sure how to describe it...only thing i can say is its like a really horrible discomfort, like i wanna move as if thats gonna change how it feels to something less irritating. Also a feeling of being constipated, like that pressure you feel when you have gas but constantly. Not all day jus off and on, theres no pain when i press on my stomach or any other area. On my right side below my rib it does feel kind of tender, like a knot but tender closer to my solar plex. Its just annoying and the fact that its persistant for a few days now worries me. Its also feels a little harder to breath when im sitting up, feels better to lean back or lie down. Again this is also an off and on feeling. Im 19 and i smoke.

Abdominal discomfort in the right upper abdominal quadrant, is probably due to liver inflammation, fatty liver or other liver conditions.
When the liver is affected, the pain isn't present, but, feeling of fullness over the liver area or "awareness" of liver.

This can be due to your gallbladder disease if it is severe pain spreading to the back of your shoulder, accompanied with nausea and vomiting.

Ask your physician to get tested for your liver functioning!
