My 7 yr. old child has a discoloration in his gums. Could it be gum disease or gingivitis? He has no bleeding or pain nor does he have bad breath. He brushes his teeth everyday plus uses rinse. He is dark haired and fair skin. I am confused what could be the problem and I don't know the signs of these disease.

Have this checked out...Your gums are a sign of any other problems...He probably is just fine, but check it out....
