I have recently had my period, 14/03 and my cycle is usually about 25 days and 7 days of bleeding. My hubby and I are trying to fall pregnant (am not on and was never on the pill) and thought my period ended on Sunday 20/03 as all was clear. We then had sex Sunday morning and all was fine. On Monday afternoon I suddenly bled as if I had my period all over again and now I have a brown discharge that does not seem to stop. What could the problem be? Is it anything to go to the doctor about?

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
The symptoms could suggest probable implantation bleeding or probable infection. A blood HCG test done would confirm/rule out pregnancy. A vaginal smear test done would rule out possibility of infection. A PAP smear test done would rule out cervix related causes that could cause the bleeding.
Take care.
