Q: Discharge from nostril

Following root canal treatment 5 days ago I have had a constant yellow discharge from my right nostril, the same side as the canal filling.

It is yellow, runny and is worse when beinding down. I have no warning normally, the fluid just runs down.

Is this normal please and how long can I expect it to continue
