Discharge around belly button

Hey I've been having small pain around my belly button for a few days now, and I just woke up from sleeping and found some crusty brown stuff all around and inside of it. So I went and found some toilet paper and just cleaned it off lightly and there was some liquid that looked like it was gathering in there, I don't have any type of piercings and I don't know what's causing it.
