Q: Discharge after period with foul smell

My period went off last week. Everything was fine until a couple of days ago I started having this discharge that smelled unusual. The discharge is a light red or pink color. I also had a mirena inserted about 4 months ago now. After I got the mirena my period was irregular for a while, which my doctor said this would happen. But she didn't say anything about a discharge like this. can anyone help me out with this?

Does it just smell unusual, or really bad?

If you have signs of an infection, you need to get it checked out ASAP because of the risk of PID with Mirena.

Otherwise it could just be some spotting, but I couldn't say for sure either way.
