Q: disc replacement laser spine surgery?

I have been considering getting a disc replacement on my lumbar L5-S1 and cervical C5-6. Until recently when I went to a seminar for the Laser Spine Institute. They said they could fix my problem without a major hospitalization. It is minimally invasive surgery. I would like to know if someone has had that and what kind of success have you had with it? I am suspicious of this surgery because I don't ever hardly hear about people having this.

disc replacement laser spine surgery
Hi I'm not sure exactly what it is that you are sufferring from. I can tell you that I have been to LSI for orthroscopic laser spine surgery. I had a laminotomy and foraminotmy on the right side. They also did a facet thermal ablation and finished the surgery off with a steroid epidural injection. The pain before surgery was so intense to the poin where I couldn't sleep, swim or walk a step without pain. I can tell you that I am now pain free in the area where surgery was performed. As far as going to LSI as oppossed to getting disc replacement surgery; as the doctors at LSI to be totally honest with you.
