I went to the doctors about 5-6 months ago, because i was concerned about my missed period of three months. He did a pap smear, and urine samples from a cafiter(excuse my spelling) after waiting a long 8 hours, he finally told me that i had a PID(Pelvic Inflammatory Disease) and I was over whelmed with feelings, I've been with the same partner for the past year and still going and I've never had a problem at all until i got with him. I got tested about 6 months ago for any STD's and i came back negative.
But now I'm getting more frequent sharp pains in my pelvic and abdomen area sometimes, strong enough to make me stop in my path. We were trying to have a child and we always had sex right before me period would come, after sex we'd wait and then my period would come a few days later. This has happened about 3-4 times now this most recent time we took a pregnancy test came out negative but still no period again. it's been about a month since we had sex, ( we had sex around the 1st of may 2009) it would've been almost 2 weeks that we had sex before he went off to work in Idaho. now that I'm in Vegas, im worried if there's something serious going on or if I'm finally pregnant this time. What should I do?

question 1
if he is cheating on you, do you still want to have a baby with someone who cheated on you?
i m concerned about how your tests was fine 6 months ago, but now you find out you have PID. please be careful, because this can make you infertile if you keep getting it.
so i would talk some time to think things over.
if you really want to get pregnant you should buy an ovulation kit at the pharmacy.
i think it's better to have sex a week after your period. but the test will tell you better. every women is different.

I would say don't settle with the diagnosis of PID. Get different doctors opinions to make sure that is what you have.
