Q: Digestive problems on hypo diet

For the past few days (1 week) now I've been feeling queasy with the diet I have been following and can't pinpoint what the problem is. I basically feel a little nauseous all day and although I'm not having diarrhea, its not the most comfortable experience going to the toilet.

Would anybody be able to tell from these foods and order what might be causing the problem?

Where not specified the quantites for the foods are generally quite small.

meal 1

brewers yeast
2 eggs
canola oil
brazil nuts
slice of sprouted spelt bread
multivitamin

meal 2

avocado
1 small tomato
block of cheddar cheese
cucumber
vitamin C (1g)

meal 3

portion of butter nut squash
small chicken breast
half fat sourced cream

meal 4

whograin whole wheat crackers
tuna
cauliflower
broccoli

meal 5

turkey breast
gem lettuce
brown rice
olives

meal 6

(stir fry) of..
chicken
butternut squash
mushrooms
pepper
green beans
ground cumin
paprika

pre bed snack

almonds
goats yoghurt

Any suggestions would be great as my stomach doesn't feel good!

A fibre overload perhaps?

Thanks,

Maybe try grouping your foods differently. Perhaps have more carbs in one meal, less in another, eating grains and vegetables separately. That may work. It could be that you're not cooking some of your food enough, broccoli and some of those other vegetables can give some pretty annoying bloating symptoms. Then again, this may be part of the healing, I know I had stomach problems early on. You're stir frying the squash?

I boil the squash for my first portion (around 14 mins) and fry it (from raw) for my second with the stir fry.

I tend to microwave the broccoli and cauliflower (3 mins) with a few tablespoons of water. From what I've read if you boil it alot of the nutrients are lost. feel free to correct me if my logic is wrong or there is a better method of cooking them.

Perhaps worth nothing 4 of these portion are put in the fridge overnight as I have to take food to work. I obviously make sure everything is cooked well and allowed to cool beforehand but if there is anything else i should be cautious of let me know.

Could be part of the healing as its kind of mildly constant throughout the day, not really worsened by any particular food or meal. As far as I can tell I'm taking in all the nutrients I require and can't see that I'm worrying deficient in anything that could cause digestive probs.

Thanks
