dear doctors,

since march '07 my asthma gets worsen, ive been diagnosed since i was a child but it went away until i was 26yrs. old.i dont know if it was because im so stressed out or just because my health is deteriorating.i noticed that at night time i usually wake up coughing & having difficulty breathing.the doctor had prescribed me with seretide 250diskus(salmeterol fluticasone) this med helps me whenever i have difficulty in breathing but the side effects of it makes me so frustrated cause i have this foul breath esp. in the morning.no matter what i do, brush my teeth or gargle with mouthwash,my breath still stinks after awhile.since my asthma attack last year ive been having sore throat every once in awhile and this persistent phlegm is killing me.the doctor had told me its my sore throat that gives the unpleasant odor, but i dont think so cause even if i dont have sore throat i still have that bad breath.i never smoke nor drink alcohol, does this stinky breath has something to do with the med im taking?why is it that my asthma has suddenly become worst, before i never had this allergy when it comes to smoke, detergents, fumes or sprays, but now even if i smell just a little bit of these makes me feel like im out of breath.i tried to calm myself thinking it will make me relaxed but doesnt work until i will take some puff(seretide). does this med has a big contribution on my worst nightmare on becoming "the dragon breath"?im really, really frustrated and depressed cause whenever i talk to people i noticed they cover their nose.i cannot find work like this, with my asthma attack and stinky breath is pulling me down.what should i do?Just for addt'l info,im only taking my asthma med whenever i have an asthma attack,is there any complications for it?last year was worst cause i had attack everyday but lately i have an asthma attack 2 aweek depends if i breath on something.whenever i have an asthma attack, i feel like im choking inside,i cant breath,i have no chest pain but it feels like its the throat area that is swollen and makes the air passage being blocked. please doctor, help me.going to doctors are costly, they just prescribed me with anything and it doesnt even help.thank you for your time.

sincerely yours,
angie
