Q: Different views about sex and condoms

I am 19 years old and me and my boyfriend talk about it constantly. He thinks that condoms are fine but their not of importance if I'm on birth control. I think condoms are very important and shouldn't matter if i'm on birth control or not. He pretty much said if someone's views don't change then it's not going to work. My fear is to get pregnant, and maybe I am over exaggerating, but my question is how important is it to use a condom even if i'm on birh control?

well as im sure you quite aware that condoms do not only protect you from pregnancy they protect you from some pretty nasty diseases too.Your boyfriend really should not be preassureing you like this and you should hold out as im sure hes only saying that to make you agree.Would he really lose you so easilly? if yes then you deserve better anyway Smile the pill is pretty good at it's job it's 99% accurate as long as you remember to take it.If you forget here and there then condoms are vital.also there is a 1% chance the pill will fail (But this is very very rare)Also if you ever take antibiotics the pill wont work so you will need a condom then too hope ive helped Smile
