I went to a chiropractor for 3 months, and there was no relief. Then i did physical therapy for another 3 months, and now a month later the pain is even worse than when i went to the chiropractor. I golf, but haven't golfed since november. Also i am only 16 years old and shouldn't be having this pain. Any ideas??

Rcamm9500,

You need to be evaluated by an orthopedic surgeon.

Significant back pain, without significant trauma, in an adolescent which has not responded to a good trial of physical therapy, is a "red flag". These patients should be referred to an orthopedic surgeon for a thorough evaluation.

Once you have a diagnosis, then a treatment plan can be drawn up.

Good luck.
