Q: 2 Different sized gestational sacs!

Hello, I went to have an ultrasound done and there was 2 gestational sacs.
They measured:

A- 7 weeks 1 day
B- 5 weeks 3 days

They seen the baby A and seen his/her heartbeat. But there is nothing int he other sac. I am wondering if they just cant see it or not. So did i lose it and not know it or does anyone have something like this happen to them?

When is your next ultrasound scheduled for?

The second gestational sac (B) could be too small or too young (5 weeks is very small) to see. On the other hand, a two week difference is a lot. Perhaps one stopped growing? This is something your doctor could (SHOULD) give you more information about.

Hello! Well yesterday i went to the ER because I was bleeding really bad. And the doctor thinks that my cervix opened up to let the other gestational sac out and then closed again... The other baby is doing good still has a heart beat (i seen it) YAY!! My hormone level was 165800 which is very high so i have to go back tomorrow and they are hoping it drops to about half of that since losing one of the twins. So i will follow up with you all on Thursday! I am praying that this pregnancy will last!!!!!

well I went to the doctors yesterday, and i had my HcG levels checked and they went from 165000 to 143000. The doctor said that wasnt a bad thing, because if i were going to miscarry he would expect them to plunge way down. And we also did a ultrasound and the baby is still alive (YAY) and the heartbeat measured 171 and we seen it move for the first time!!!!!! But this morninf (friday) i went to the bathroom (sorry TMI) but i lost alot of tissue and blood clots and Im not sure if it was a baby or not i couldnt tell. Im so scared and tired of the roller coaster pregnancy. I will follow up if anything new happens. thanks for all of the support to everyone who has posted something. And i hope this helps if anyone has a similar pregnancy to this one.

While not knowing is hard, knowing what caused the bleed wouldn't change anything.

I'm glad things are going well now and so precious to see the heartbeat
