This was supposed to be my very first posting.
But, even without my choosing a Forum, it got submitted under "Sleep Disorders" !
So, I am resubmitting the same query now (see below) under "Vision and Eye Disorders" because Nurokind Plus capsule was prescribed for me as a supplement for Optic Nerves.

I was advised to take Nurokind Plus capsules ; it contains Me-Cobalamin - 1500 mcg, ...
Many medical sites like
http://www.medsafe.govt.nz/Regulatory/Comp
Med/PIL/IJEACCM/2/Methylcobalamin.pdf claim that MethylCobalamin is also known as MeCobalamin.
However, MethylCobalamin is an Uncoated Sublingual Tablet, whereas Nurokind Plus (with Me-Cobalamin) is a Capsule.
I took the first Nurokind Plus capsule dose sublingually, and after the top coating was dissolved, it was like eating a raw chillie ! ; it burnt below my tongue and in the esophagus, and it left a rather foul smell in my mouth for a long time.
Would appreciate if the difference could be clarified, and the reason why the capsule, when taken sublingually, caused so much burn in my mouth, esophagus and stomach etc.
Could the drug be a spurious one ?
Thanks in advance.
