Q: Diet changes for ms

I was diagnosed with relapse remitting ms about 10 months ago. I have started a diet that cuts out gluten, eggs, dairy, legumes and a few other things. It apparently takes away all symptoms to the point that you don't need meds and your "normal" again. My symptoms haven't gone away yet, but it takes awhile, up to 2 years for it to work fully. My doctor wants me to start the meds, but i don't want to, especially if this will work.

What I was wondering, is anyone else on this diet??? Or tried it? Any input would be great. Does it really work????

Thank you for you help.

Have you tried an anti-inflammatory diet?

Basically no processed foods, cow's dairy products (replace with goat milk which is pretty darn good)...if man made...no-no, including ice cream Sad

Begin to eat fresh (preferably organic) fruit and veggies or frozen that do not cause inflammation...

No need to wait for 2 years...good grief.

I too have RRMS...I felt much better within 30 days...

Oh, meats...no hormones allowed and eggs high in omega...yes you can have eggs! No pork or seafood...those creatures eat toxics off the sea floor and pigs...well, it's a pig and will eat anything!
