Hi Chef,

YOur customer knows best his/her condition and what he/she can and can't eat. Just call them and ask how you can best help them take care of themselves. I am sure they wll appreciate you taking a personal intrest in them.

Good Luck,

Faded Rose

Not clear - is macrobiotic diet no help or you can't find help on this board?
ALS is degenerative disease with paralysis growing, which implies pathogenic Yin energy, so Yang-oriented macrobiotic diet is an option.
On the other hand, the destruction of motor neurones is
Yang energy which means Yin meals, but meals energy seems to not be able to get to the roots of the process.

ALS and Macrobiotics
I am working with a woman that has ALS. We are about to embark on a macrobiotic journey. In the book "The Macrobiotic Path to Total Health" ALS in indicated to go on a yin/yang balance - diet plan number 3. The closet medical condition described in the book is Myasthenia Gravis, a similar degenerative neurological disorder.
There are a few other tips in the book, including Ginger Compress on the arms and legs, and an "ALS Stew".
Wish us luck!
