Q: Diet and exercise effect on energy ?

My college roommate is 24 years old. She says that she is hypoglycemic and is also taking antidepressants as anti-anxiety medication. She often will not eat very much during the day and then come home from her job (She is a first-year special education teacher), and eat a whole pizza or some other large amount of an unhealthy food. When she does eat, she consumbes carbohydrates like white grains, sugar cereal, chocolate, candy, and oreos. She rarely exercises.
She has recently felt tired a lot of the time. She had blood work done but the results came back that there was nothing wrong. Would a healthier diet and mild to moderate physical exercise help my roommate have more energy?

A healthy diet rich with natural foods and exercise will help your friend. She may be tired for the first few weeks until her body withdraws from the sugar. Also, eating at regular intervals during the day is highly suggested.
