I am 28 yrs old and went to get a female check-up, she removed my clothes and stuck a stick in me which is normal I guess. But then she said he needed to feel inside my vagina for any abnormalities. But she did it for like five whole minutes, In and out slowly. She informed me that its normal. Was she like...fingering me?
It was feeling very awkward.

I am an ex maternity nurse and saw these examinations being done often, and can assure you that the doctor doing a vaginal examination is normal, but I cannot understand the doctor removing your clothing, the patint does this herself, before the examination begins, but as ohcalcuta stated it is always a patient's right to have a nurse present at any personnal examination.

5 minutes? I have had surgery on my uterus & have had various examinations but I don't remember ever having a doctor feel inside me with their hand/fingers for 5 whole minutes. And like someone said before it is definitely NOT normal for the doc to remove your clothes.
