Did I have a miscarriage?
I am 6 weeks pregnant. Last night,(ironically right at midnight on New Years Eve), I started bleeding & then passed some blood clots. The blood was bright red, ( but I had been spotting the last week with a brownish blood color).
One or two of the clots were pretty big- about the size of the palm of my hand- maybe little smaller. And some were about size of a quarter. I couldn't really see anything else , except one big blood clot had a small sac type thing in it- about the circumference of a quarter.
I had no pain, just a little back pain. And I am now just spotting.
Also, my breasts have stopped hurting the last day or 2. (And they have been pretty sore the last month).
Does this sound like I had one? And do you think everything came out? Should I go to an emergency room? Or just make an appt w/ a Dr. ASAP?
Any information is much appreciated!

Jess what you're saying sounds much like my experience with a miscarriage. I do think you should go to the hospital asap, they sometimes need to do a D&C, sometimes not so dont panic. There's also a chance your baby is okay. Those who are pregnant should see a dr as soon as they see any color of blood.

Get to the ER.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, Im pretty sure I had one, but I want to make sure its finished. I guess I should head over to the er. I called a 24/7 nurse Line- they advised I get to the ER soon as well.

Its weird. I had no pain whatsoever. Id always assumed these would be very painful.

You said you had some mild backpain, that's prettty normal with miscarriage and/or labor.

I had serious stomach pain (like bad period cramps) and mild back pain with my first miscarriage.

I'm sorry you're going thru this and hope you get through it okay.
