Nope, not true. Plenty of others join in on the drama as well.

Diane, I don't get on much anymore so I can't help ya. But I doubt you've done anything wrong

well I am british american hehe, i have a british birth certificate and an american one, but im not into all the drama, not even when i was in highschool, I NEVER talked at school i was really really shy, 11th grade was the only year i actualyl talked at school and had boyfriends and wnt to prom and played soccer etc but then we moved my senior yr so i went back to being silent. I think also that this plase is a little delayed becauase some posts said zero views forever then outa nowhere it has like 20 views. Are they still working on stuff admin anyway?

How can someone have two different brith certificates? You cannot be born in two places....I think what you mean is citizenship?

yeah well i have dual citizenship, i was born in england but my dad is air force. SO i could choose to be a british citizen or american. Jordynne is the same way she was born here in germany at a german hospital but because we are military she has the german birth certificate and an american one, i think just for the purpose of taxes etc. But I have 2 birth certificates one is certificate of birth abroad wich is the british one then the american one that is alot bigger. I really need to look for them they are in my house somewhere.

its only the military, me and my brother and sister were all born in england but my dad is air force or was hes retired now, my mom is a british citizen though she has an alien card, she got hers back when they never expired hehe lucky her. If we werent military we prob wouldnt be living overseas hehe. I dont know why they give us 2, I only remember when jordynne was born we went to the rathouse (sp) somewhere downtown here and paid for the german birth certificate because she was born in regensburg, at a civilian hospital there isnt a military hospital on this base to deliver babies at. And then when we applied for her passport on base we paid $60 for the american birth certificate. Passport is free for military because we need them to move and then the social security card, but the german birth certificate we got when she was like 2 weeks old. The american one she was like 5-6 mths old lol. Its mostly for moving from overseas to stateside and vice versa that they need 2, kinda to prove there american and not trying to illegaly go to the states or something i dunno.

It's more than military. I know a missionary family that lived in jamaica for twenty years. their children were all born in jamaica and they have 2 birth certs and dual citizenship. karen (the wife) says that they're allowed the dual citizenship until they're 18 or something and then they us govt makes them choose. but she said the jamaican gov't will still recognize them as jamaican citizens. totally weird. i don't know if it works that way for everyone though... Confused
