My 7 year was diagnosed with SLE fourteen months ago. She has done well, with no flare ups for the last seven months. She is on Prednisone for flares only. She has had diarrhea for the last week, each time that she eats. I was thinking she had some sort of stomach bug and was not too concerned, but she gets abdominal pain and uncontrollable diarrhea. Does this sound like it could be related to the disease, or most likely a virus of some sort?
