I've had Diarrhoea for 3 weeks now.

I've lost over a stone in weight in this time i'm 22, 5"4 now under 8 stone

Been to the doctors twice had blood test and stool sample done both came back as normal. Was put on Loperamide (Imodium) to try to stop Diarrhoea had to take 14 before any affect then became Constipated, stopped taking Diarrhoea came back straight away, decided Diarrhoea is better than constipation as get some relief from abdominal cramps rather than none.

Abdominal pain and cramps really bad most the day/night spent doubled over.

Feel so weak no energy all i can do is sleep. Guess could be dehydrated don't really know the symptoms struggling to eat and drink and don't keep anything inside very long.

Other symptoms include Nausea, Shakes, one minute really cold then hot, yellow stools

Dont know how much more I can take please help

hello and welcome and so sorry you are unwell.
if i were you i would go back and get second opinion or to an outpatients at the hospital.
this diahorrea is out of control and the weight loss.
any bowel disorder like yours needs further investigation.
this is my own personal opinion as not a doctor but supporter on the forum.
you are possibly dehydrated most bouts of sickness an diahorrea cause this.
my thoughts are with you and let us know how you get on.
good luck and watch your post for other replies maybe someone else on the site has experienced the same as you thats why we are all here.

This can be very difficult to conquer...Years ago, I ended up with a child in the hospital and put on IV with this problem.....I hope you are seeing a specialist to help you with this...It has definitely taken hold of you...Stay away from milk, meats and juices...Try and stay with water, sodas, chicken and more bland foods...Eat small amounts at a time...If this gets any worse get yourself admitted for help...You need to get it under control...I, like Ioka, am not a doctor or nurse, however, I, like her, love this site and try to help....

I hope that this has gotten better since your original post...It is a rough thing to control...

Good luck,
Caroline
