Q: Diarrhea , abdominal pain , chest pain
asked by: DoctorQuestion on September 16th, 2009
I ad my gall bladder out 2 months ago. I have had the full gammot of tests done and still have no answer to my chronic diarrhea, abdominal pain, and extreme chest pain. I have taken out of my diet: gluten, dairy, casein, lactose, citrus, and any meat besides chicken. This is the only way I have been able to survive and not get sick. I am still have reactions and pain anytime I touch any one of the foods above. I was given antispasmodics, and percocet for the pain. What is the next step? Where do I go from here? I just need a diagnosis or an idea of what I should do, because I've been left in the dark with no answers. Thanks.

Your constellation of symptoms is rather unusual, and suggests the possibility of more than one problem. A thorough consultation with a Gastroenterologist is in order.
