my son has alot of pain in the lower
stomach and lower back with diarrea and
blood coming from the anus, burning from
the anus and sweaty sometimes. He's had
this over 24 hrs and I treated with lots
of water and cranberry juice. Is there a
virus similiar to this going around or
should he seek medical help? He's always
in such good health. He's 27 years old.

He needs to be taken to a hospital immediately. Bleeding from
the anus along with the severe stomach
pain and the feverish symptoms indicates
internal bleeding of some kind, whether
from an ulcer or something in his
intestines and that is very
serious. Make him go NOW, even if you
don't see this until 2 AM. Go to the ER
immediately.
