A few years ago I quit having a minstrel period this went on for almost two years I finally went and seen my Dr he said it was due to the stress I was under, So my Dr tryed birth control pills the first one Yaz didn't help so he put my on ortho tri Cyclen I took that for about 8-9 months then I started having a regular period the cycle was starting to get regular again 28 days so I stopped taking the Birth control pills back in Jan 09 well my cycle was 28 days to 30 days until March I thought I was pregnant due to taking a test which showed two lines but come to find out it was a evaporation line so to say this got my hopes up and took a blood test to confirm I was not pregnant now my cycle is 37 days and that has started back in March, last year my Dr told me I had PCOS because of the symptoms I had described no period , some high blood pressure, over weight and BAD ACNE also the hair under the arm pits that I just started getting last year that I never had before!

The reason im concerned is I want to try to have another baby and nothing yet I have two children both boys but wanting to try for a girl I know there is a 50/50 split but I guess my odds would be higher if I have/had pcos!

Also I know the birth control could still be in my system to stop me from getting pregnant and also being obese could be a factor!

My husband is over weight to and probley could be a reason!

My question is could I really have or know for sure I have PCOS with out them doing a ultrasound?
