Q: Diagnosing nerve entrapment or compression

i have backpain, i started getting this longtime ago, not so much pain, but after 1 year of numness tingling on both legs, now i lost control of one leg, i dont know whats causing this, i didnt go to the doctor, because i cant efford to pay. . would you please tell me wats goin on..

Your question involves numbness, tingling, and you have stated that you have lost control of one leg.

Numbness and tingling may indicate nerve compression or entrapment of a nerve root as it exits the spine.

Also, the more severe the compression, it can affect muscle strength in your legs. If this is happening, in order to rule out serious pathology, it is recommended that you see your physician as soon as possible.
