The exact location and dimensions might have been helpful. The lump might be an inflammation of a skin gland or the skin itself. An inflamed lymph node to surrounding inflammation is one of the possible diagnoses, too. The inflammation might be caused by bacteria and an antibiotic would be prescribed.

Depending on the location and the dimensions of the lump, you might be also experiencing a hernia. A hernia is a sac like protrusion of the intestines covered only with skin, while the muscles are missing. When the stomach is under pressure, the hernia becomes more visible and it is usually easy to push it back ad make it disappear temporarily.
