ok so for over a month i was on and off getting sick with cold like symptoms, and experienced a droopy eyelid. i thought it was allergies and went to several different doctors, including eye doctors. finally, my current eye doctor ordered me to get a ct scan and the results came back, showing that i have sinusitis. i guess it is very bad on one side, which is the left side of my face. my droopy eyelid also happens to be my left eye. they then referred me to an ENT to get my sinuses drained. i was wondering, though, is getting my sinuses drained going to help with the droopiness in my eyelid? or will it be permanent? it's not causing damage on my eye, or the optic nerve. my eye doctor said my eye may get better, and it may not. he said he doesn't know because he does not specialize in that. he said if it doesn't i could always get surgery but if i get that done it will be considered plastic surgery and i don't know how i feel about that. i just am wondering has anyone also ever had the same problem. thank you in advance! (:

Droopy Eyelid and Sinusitis
I have the same problem at the moment... woke up with a droopy eyelid and I have a cold and sinusitis... the sinusitis doesn't feel THAT bad to me, but I did just travel on a plane and my ears were hurting so much on my left side (the droopy eyelid side) that I thought my ear drum was going to burst. I am worried my eyelid won't get better! I thought maybe I'd had a mini stroke or something! I'm on antibiotics now... hope it goes away. How is yours now?

I have this problem after I run....? I run for 20 minutes and after my left eye swells. I've had a CT scan which showed extra mucous lining on that side and I have had allergy testing and I am only allergic to cats, no pollon etc. No doctor or specialist has been able to help me! I'm so annoyed and confused by it! Any one have a similar problem and I'm in the samenboat maybe to get the sinus drained...?
