I am 38 and my boyfriend is 28 and we are both diabetics. We have been trying for many months to concieve a baby. Do you think we have a chance of success?

Welcome to e-health. Sorry it took a while to answer. I assume you are Type 1? Is your boyfriend Type 1 or 2? Are you both on insulin?, or medication? I am not a Dr. but I don't see any reason why you can't conceive. Are you seeing a specialist? From what I have read a Type 1 can get pregnant as long as your blood sugars are under good control you should have no problems. Good luck.
