Diabetes symptoms

hi, im a 17 year old male i,ve recently been worrying about diabetes as i have read some of the symptoms and i kind of have some of them. Well for starters since i was like 7 to 15 i had a reasonably poor diet with high sugar in but i exercised about half an hour everyday, however now i have alot of fruit and generally a healthy diet. I dont have any diabetic history in my family, and im not really that overweight either. I'm not sure if i should be worrying or not and i really need someone to put my mind at rest but i drink about 2 litres of water a day not due to excessive thirst but simple because its good for me and i find myself going to the toilet not abnormally high but quite a few times a day especially at night. Also i find myself quite tired in the day im not sure if this is due to late nights or not. I also sometimes suffer from weak legs but i dont have any vision problems. Basically i am simply worrying due to my poor diet for all them years. Could somone please tell me if i am risk & put my mind at rest. Help would be much appreciated. Thanks

I'm not sure if you have it or not. A simple blood test will tell you if you have high sugar or not. Go to your doctor and have yourself tested. It's better to be on the safe side. Get a A1C blood test done. Good luck. If you have any more questions let me know. I will be happy to answer them if I can. Smile
