Hi,
Welcome to the forum and I am really glad to help you out.

There are 2 important risks to you. Firstly, due to the diabetes, there’s always a risk of macrosomia (a big sized foetus).

Macrosomia can increase the risk of injuries to the pelvis. Secondly, because of your age, the ligaments of the pelvis instead of being laxed are quite rigid and thus the pelvis can’t be relaxed properly and this also interferes in the delivery of the baby.

Yours is a slightly high risk pregnancy and the delivery should be done only under the expert hands. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
