I have in the past placed posts on this forum in regards to Hypoglycemia. Now, I have been told that it is far worse than just hypoglycemia. It turns out that I have Diabetes instead. I have become very thin lately and have lost allot of weight. To be exact, I have lost some where around 77 lbs since I came down with this last disorder. I was seen in the emergency room each time and was given all sorts of blood, urine, stool, and other tests. Each time the doctors would say it looks like diabetes to them. I even had Ketones n my urine test around 10 times so fort when tested at ramdom on several ocassions. I am down to 123 lbs and, I am 5 feet 11 inches tall, with a BMI 18. So, far my diet has stopped the weight loss episodes for now but, I am still really thin. The doctors told me that it was probably caught to late in life to help me out much now. I did mention on this board that I thought something was wrong bach in the early 1980's. It turns out the the VA Hospital Docotors knew I had this sickness but failed to tell me until last year. Now, I am paying for their mistake. From now on, I am going over to the Diabetic Forum. So long all.
