Q: dextrometaform is addiction ?

I am 22 yaers old now and when iu was a child , i was given ough syrups which were sweet tastin.Just at mid 20's - i rmeberd that and took a large sips of that syrup and got drunk.Now its like i am addicted to it.Not that i cant live with out it - but i like it.
Is this addiction or its jsu i am making fun of nothing.
the ingrdient is the syrup name EXTROMETAFORM .

I must agree with your theory michell. I was on codine for my severe asthma since age 5 for many years. I too believe that some of our dependecies are from our childhood illnesses and the treatment of choice we had in those days. Look at your antibiotics. Half of them don't work anymore. We were introduced to the drug worl at very young ages.
