When i was 2 months old i was admitted in the hospital because of bronchitis. My doctor found out that time that my heart is reversed.

but just this month, i undergo an x-ray which showed my heart is not reversed.

Is it possible that heart will get back to its original position????

I have excessive mucus production and i thought that it was caused by reversed position of the heart.

Hi,
Welcome to the ehealthforum. I am glad to help you out. Once the position of the heart is fixed at the time of the organ development in the womb, it remains the same throughout the life. Hence, it is not possible for the heart to change its position. I’ll suggest consulting a physician for the same. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
