My mom told me recently that since using those foot pads that detoxify your body, she had noticed she has been less depressed and anxious? Can there be any truth to this? I don't know too much about how they work but she sent me this link to buy some http://www.tvproductsandmore.com/Health_Be auty-Detox_Patches_8_pack.html and I have seen them advertised on tv. Has anyone one on here used them and really feels they helped with depression? I prefer natural remedies to prescription drugs so please answer if you know more about this. Serious answers only please.

The detox footpads are a money making scam. Yes they work, but think of the amount of toxins in your body and how small the patch is. It isn't enough to significantly reduce your toxins. They are so expensive, so I would say, save your money on those and when it all adds up (and not slowly), go to a spa and get a detox body wrap which can be done all naturally and will definitely help you.

I don't want to discredit your mother, but there are other reasons why she might be feeling less anxious, plus buying the pads and doing something for herself like this is probably helping her.

Maybe you both could do a day at the spa Smile

I think its a scam as well. I really wouldn't bother with it. It's good that she feels less anxious, but I am thinking it is more of a mental thing (she thinks it'll make her feel better, so her body responds to that).

Do you take any multivitamins? That helped me greatly be more ready to go, less anxious, and a bit less depressed. Exercise and other natural ways should help as well.

Yes, vitamins are great, and you can also try a detox diet which will do an overall cleansing of your system. It's still good to do the wraps tho. Stuff can get stuck in your fat and your skin that won't be touched by a diet plan.
