Q: detox diets

I started doing the detox diet about 5 days ago and I was wondering if anyone has had success with it. My goal is to lose weight obviously and tone my abs I'm including exercise of course but will this diet help me lose fat? or does anyone know a diet that will work better for that?

Detox diets are tricky. You can lose weight as long as you start to eat very slowly when it is finished. The problem is your metabolism shuts down after starving your body, and you can gain it all back. Pick a calorie level that is good for you, and stick to it every day. Eat healthy and exercise and you will see good results.
