There are several types of migraine: migraine without aura (most common), migraine with aura, basilar type migraine, familial hemiplegic migraine, abdominal migraine, acephalic migraine, menstrual migraine. Each of these types has its own characteristics, or is related to an organ. You might want to check for the specific diagnosis criteria in the International Classification of Headache Disorders for the exact type of migraine.
