if its a dream like feeling your experiencing, like your disconnected from the world around you. you might want look up depersonalization/derealization. i have it, and so far have not found much in reference to how to treat it, but good luck. if you find anything out let me know.

depersonalization/derealization are symptoms of anxiety. the only way to treat the dp/dr is to treat the anxiety

i've had depersonalization for just over 5 months now. it's scary, i know, but your not going crazy. your symptoms are like a text book example of depersonalization. i recommend joining the website dpselfhelp. plenty of good people just like us with truckloads of knowledge on our condition. trust me when i say that the first step to recovery is to not be afraid of it. once i knew what the problem was and was able too recognize the anxiety related thoughts i had that were making it worse i started to feel better. also i just started lexapro, after only 4 days my DP has gone from a 10 down to a 3. i wanna go do stuff again, the veil that has been pulled over my eyes is slowly dissolving and i can feel again. come join us at dpselfhelp its helped me a lot already.

p.s. when you get there come find me my screen name there is also Tommygunz, send me a message so i know you found it.
