Oh, that is terrible! Ear aches make for long, long nights. The best advice I have - even though it is not that great - is to sit her up, it puts less pressure on the tubes in the ears. That is why sometimes ear infections are 'discovered' until night when the kids are trying to lay down to sleep but their ear hurts.

Also, alternating tylenol and motrin helps. Good luck at the doctor.
