Q: desperate for a female

So im 18 years old. I never had sex, and the only girl friend i have ever had was for about a month and i had to practically beg for a kiss of her, or to hold her hand, let alone touch her. Then she broke up with me and started dating the guy she was screwing while we were going out and never talked, or looked at me ever again.
I guess the reason for my situation is a combination of things. I guess i have an abrasive personality, i am a little obsessive and I'm the uglyist kid this side of town... in my opinion.
Now i can get girls numbers and every thing, but i can never get them to stick around... and they always make up obvious excuses and jerk me around like a drooling dog. Its led to me become very depressed and dreaming about ending it. The out come of my whole day depends on whether or not i get to talk to one of these girls! IM pathetic, and sad and i can never let it show......
I crave attention to much, and im just like a clown to every body. no one takes me seriously. Crying or Very sad

I just glad i have a full time job or i would be in a nut house by now.

Hi, I understand how you are feeling, you want to feel what love is like, kiss, be loved, have someone look at you so thay can think to themselves..."he is so adorable" and apparently there is only one way to get girls to respect you and like you...

It's to be a bit of a rebel yourself, like House MD, Sawyer from Lost, etc... girls like a challenge, if not it's boring for them. Believe me, looks isn't everything neither. Girls like personnality more than looks, they want to meet a guy who can connect to them, not just be walking around with a fine hot piece of art...girls prefer what's inside. Maybe some don't see that, but just wait whilst the big macho guy starts to make them suffer, then they will realise that it is what's on the inside...

I got a question now for you. I've been getting rejection for quite a while, and now i'm pretty scared going up to a girl; my question is, how do you get girls' phone numbers' or even how do you approach a girl?

I hope that you'll answer my question.

Hey guys, as a girl, I'd have to say that self confidence is the #1 attraction point for women. How would you rate your self confidence?

Pizzadude, just ask. Be honest, there is nothing more flattering. "Hey, I noticed you and thought I'd really like to get to know you better. Could I call you sometime?" What girl would give you a hard time for that?

Yeah, but that sounds a bit weird, I mean would you really want someone to go over to you in the street and say "Hey, I noticed you and thought I'd really like to get to know you better. Could I call you sometime?" ?

no don't do that, thats a good way to get the rape whistle blown on you dude.
you cant just go up to a girl. Its harder than that, you have to some how get involved in what she is doing, or find something you have in common. Like if she has a shirt on of a band you like be all like "that band totally rocks" even if you don't like them you can say it anyways. Or if they are looking at books in a book store, go to the same section as them and make it look as if your looking for a similar book. Its an art really. And don't be afraid of getting rejected because it happens a lot.
