SOME women simply cannot use hormonal birth control, for those VERY SAME REASONS.

I cannot use hormonal BC, so I use a non hormonal IUD, and have for years.

You may be unable to tolerate hormonal BC, which means you may have to look into NON hormonal methods.

hmm well can you suggest something? i know they wont let me use the iud cause i havent ever had kids or anything like that and i mentioned it already.. my thing is i'm trying to control my periods.. thats why i started bc.. i was going 2 to 3 weeks at a time.. and it got bad.. they have tried various things on me so far the only one that worked with only minor side effects was Alesse 28 and they havent gotten that in the clinic i go to..

YES you can have an IUD.

I do not have kids, and I have never given birth.

MANY regular doctors will not do IUD'S... BUT Planned parenthood and other 'open minded' gynecologists will.

In europe, girls as young as 14 get IUD's because they are so safe and effective.

Can you buy alesse at a pharmacy? They do have a generic version. You may tolerate that hormone dosage the best.

YOU could always call Planned Parenthood and see if they have Alesse.

Some women do best on certain pills, each one is unique and you have to find your 'fit'.
