Dermatitis cures ?

I didn't notice this until about about 5 days ago and it hasn't went away since. I'm not sure if it's because I changed shaving creams or what, but it seems like it's here to stay. It doesn't itch or irritate. I'm skeptic about creams and other such ointments because I hear it makes the rash/whatever it is come back in a much worse form, and if it is a type of dermatitis it's chronic. So what could this be and are there any sure-fire cures?
