Deprovera, irregular periods, and iron pills Posted: 06-30-08 21:49pm
I am currently 17 and I have been on the
shot for about 4 1/2 months now. And at
first I didn't have periods but now when
I'm done after intercourse i usually
bleed. I dont understand that part. Now I
have bought iron pills because I was told
that should help with stopping the periods
by an actual doctor. I would really like
some feedback and thoughts on this.

When I was on the shot I would bleed a
little after sex because I wasnt as
lubricated as before. Try using some lube
and see if that helps with the bleeding
after sex. If it's like what I had it's
not a period it's bleeding from
irritation. If that doesn't help then it
could be just spotting, why it only comes
after sex I'm not sure. Hope this helps a
little!
