Masturbation isn't found in the New Testement in any book but oddly seems to be the topic of most biblical interpretation you hear out of the Book of James. The Old Testiment comes close to specifics of Masturbation but then again the Old Testament says you should be stoned for dying your hair and that eating Bacon makes you unclean. There's a lot of Pick-and-choose Christianity coming out of the Old Testement for good reason.

I'm not a fan of ISSM or it's affiliates but beyond my opinion it's just a fact that Masturbation isn't a cause of depression. Masturbation is a mood stabilizer and promotes the production of serotonin in the brain. The male of the human species engages in regular masturbation. Only a small portion of males have any depression issues. If there was a causal relationship we would absolutely see a much larger sampling of men sufferring from the disorder.

The disorder of Depression is not usually trigerred by a particular activity or event. It is a constant that can intensify based on neurochemistry or anxiety. If you're only experiencing feelings of displeasure and listelessness following Masturbation most likely you're experiencing an anxiety disorder or some manner of Guilt complex pathology. However only a qualified medical professional can evaluate if you're dealing with any kind of psychological disorder. I'd suggest you speak with a psychiatrist about what you're going through.
