I'm a 19 year old girl and I had cancer when I was 5, I was wondering if that is something that would cause me to be depressed now. Because I haven't really been happy since for a really long time. I deffinately feel like I need help. I just recently started seeing a therapist and she said she is going to help me with my anxiety and stress. I'm just wondering if having cancer is what made me like this or if it would have happened anyways.

What kind of cancer you had??Added stress at this age can lead you into this but if the disease is controlled you need not worry..at this age there is lots of stress and happens to most of us,but you should know how o cope with it....
