If you plan to continue your hormonal therapy for your prostate cancer, then your two best choices are, basically, either psychotherapy or antidepressant medications, or a combination of both.

Your Urologist or Medical Oncologist should be able to refer you to a Psychologist or Psychiatrist who can help you.

If your depression is severe enough to cause you thoughts of harming yourself, or anyone else, then I also strongly urge you to call your doctor, a suicide prevention center, or 911 immediately, please.
